Hiatus

I have been so blessed the last 5 years with devoted customers and a very supportive family.  As you could imagine running a photography business is a full time job. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that take up a lot of my time and the time I have to spend with my family.  I’d love to say I have it all together but as I’m sure most mom’s would say, with kids its almost impossible to have it together. Once you think you have it figured out you get thrown a curve ball and you have to figure out how to make it work all over  again.

As everyone knows I have two kids of my own. My youngest has had some challenges, for the first year of his life unbeknownst to us he couldn’t hear. This has put him behind in his speech and is now leading us into a lot of upsetting fits because he can’t communicate to us what his little mind is thinking. I have decided to take a small break from photography to focus on him to find him the help he needs and to get him caught up with other children his age.

As of now I’m just taking the next couple months off  and hope to jump back in, in January. Until then I plan to spend more time with my kids, help out in Ashlyn’s class room, get Austin into speech, play cars, barbies, pull out the paints and play dough and ENJOY my babies while they will still have me. =)

The Websters | Puyallup Photographer

Let me start this by saying I am not a wedding photographer BUT when I heard the Websters story I was glad they’d have me. Teresa planned her wedding in a week….yes one week beginning to end. They had planned to get married next summer but Mike (Mr. Webster) was recently diagnosed with cancer. Teresa is kind of like super woman… planning a wedding, taking care of Mike AND being mom! I have no doubt that Mike is in good hands, he has an amazing, fun, energetic family to help him get through this bump in the road.

Here is a little peek inside one of the most amazing, intimate weddings I have ever witnessed.

Thank you Teresa and Mike, I enjoyed being a part of your day! You will both be in my thoughts and prayers.
